I fully support the lovers of black using as part of their goth getups. hoever, there is no reason that a purple plaid skirt needs to be just for a select few. everyone can wear them. You can pull any color out of the plaid pattern to match as a shirt. Experiment with your plaid skirts and have some fun with them.

The red plaid skirt seemed to have started it all. Red is a hot color. It is supposed to move people to action, whether good or, er, naughty. Wearing a short red shirt is sure to catch the attention of any guy. Wearing a knee length red pencil skirt will also be seen as very appealing.

You must attach the zipper to the top of the waist, not the top of the pleats. I think she just went too fast with the video and didn't notice what she was doing at that point. It is a solid video on how to make your own plaid skirt with whatever plaid fabric you choose. If you are creative, and have the designer's eye, you could easily adapt this pattern to make a two way pleated skirt.
