Bathing Suits For Large Chests

It is way too easy to make the mistake of buying the wrong bathing suits. What you thought was the perfect bathing suit, based on the photo on the website from where you bought it, can end up turning out to be a little large, or small, or boring or end up showing your problem areas. Bathing suits come in all cuts and sizes nowadays. There are swimsuits for big busts, small chests, wide hips, narrow hips, and etcetera. Sometimes the best thing to do is to start from scratch and figure out what works best for your body type. Stand in front of the mirror and turn around to see yourself from all angles. Determine several things, including your body type (apple, pear, hourglass or banana). What are your problem areas? Which parts do you want to show and which ones do you want to hide? Which parts do you want to lengthen or slenderize? Don’t feel bad about your problem areas. As they say: even supermodels have cellulite! Oftentimes we tend to hate looking at the mirror because we forget that we all have features that are actually good and others may envy.

This season, you may want to try a classy new look with a v-neck tankini paired with a bikini bottom in a solid color or cheap monokini swimsuits. Among the advantages of wearing tankinis is that you can wear an extra silicone padding or soft cup inside it, and this can make you look like you have fuller breasts. In addition, most tankinis have a band right underneath the bra area, which, in effect, trims the width of the waist.

Wide Hips? No Problem

Even women with wide hips shouldn’t have a problem finding the perfect swimsuits. If you are among these women, keep an eye out for Minimizer bathing suits or tankinis that go over the hips, as well as matching skirts that will go well with these bikinis. Remember that dark colors can make any part look slimmer, so be on the lookout for snug-fitting bottoms in solid dark colors as well. Another cut that you may be interested in is a cut that’s between a hipster and one with a high waist. Unfortunately, you may have to stay away from most shorts, even dark-colored ones, as shorts can make your hips look wide. Alternately, you may want to find a busy top to balance the focus on your body and keep you looking more proportional.

If You’re Apple-shaped

If an hourglass basically looks like a woman has an upper body that is just as wide as her lower body, a woman that is “apple-shaped” has an upper body that looks wider than her lower body. If this is the case with you, find a bathing suit that will keep people’s focus on the bottom part of your body, particularly your hip area.

Lycra is a good material to keep an eye out for, as well as others that will embrace the contours of your body. Experiment with different patterns, colors and cuts to see what will work best for your body shape.
